This soil probe is used to collect samples from the topsoil. Depending on the depth of the desired analysis, appropriate device length should be selected. This allows for sampling from depths of 20, 30, 40, 60, or 90 cm.

The set includes soil sample containers and an acid-resistant steel cleaning claw, which helps keep the device clean and remove soil residues to the designated container.

The product is manufactured in accordance with the Polish Standard PN-R-04031 – “Chemical and agricultural analysis of soil. Sampling.”

3. Retrieve and discard the sample into the container.

What types of soils is this probe best suited for?

It is best suited for soils where sampling from a deep layer is necessary, such as brown or lessive soils. In loess soils, illuvial clay accumulations also occur at a depth of 70-90 cm.

Does the product require additional cleaning agents?

AISI 304 acid-resistant steel is resistant to corrosion and chemical agents, so the probe does not require special lubrication. Simply remove any remaining soil with a claw and rinse with water.

Can I use the probe to collect samples for purposes other than soil testing?

Yes, although it was designed for soil sampling, it can also be used for testing sediments or substrates in specialized crops.
